Office opening from Mol

So many wonderful things happened today!

- Over 80 kids were at Saturday practice this morning, unreal.

- Almost all of those kids brought their cards that they were given at office event the other night that track the points they earn by coming to practice. So while were only two days out, they are showing signs of responsibility already!

- Kiefer managed to make it through an entire session with out plowing over any small children!

- Several of the people that took the coaching clinic this last week did a stellar job helping at practice today, showing off their new skills and whistles.

- THE OFFICE OPENING WAS AMAZING!
we walked all 60 kids up to the office after practice and were greeted with loud music, street soccer, muchos ninas and ninos, and of course, TANG! Inside the office slide shows were playing with pictures from the last year of SWB in Granada. Kids sat patiently inside viewing photos and sipping sweet sweet tang before heading to the street for more festivites. The whole street had been closed down so we took over with several games of street soccer. With a little encouragment from the SWB crew we started a pretty great dance party in the street. The photos to come should give a better idea, but there must have been close to a 200 people there, Dona Bertha even made an apperance! If thats not a good sign, I don't know what is.

More to come soon, but for now its time to rest up for our international soccer debut tomorrow morning in Managua. We have a 6:30 am departure to look forward to so I'm off to rest up. Tomorrow at this time I'll most likely have taken over the outdoor fountain here at the Euro Cafe and searched all of Granada for enough ice to fill it and create the first ice bath Nicaragua has ever seen.

Wish us luck!
