Here we are!

Ann, Dani, Ben and Mary made it to Granada today, with Ben taking the award for longest and most uncomfortable trip (15 hours on a bus from Guatemala!). No pictures to share just yet, but a couple of checklists:

What we have accomplished thus far:

Food in a bag- check!

Pickup soccer at sunset...and in the dark- check.

Beating the boys at pickup soccer- check.

Embarrassing interaction with host mom- check.

Sore triceps from ball pumping- check.

Overscheduling ourselves for tomorrow and undoubtedly the rest of the days to follow- check.

Start to spread the word to girls about Saturdays practice- check.

Total dehydration- check.

Swooning over Carolina and her adorable new miniature pets- check and check.

And also a brief list of things still to do:

Mangos.

Juice in a bag.

Unsightly bug bites and sunburns.

Practices with the girls.

Embarrassing botching of the Spanish language.

Chai helado at the Euro Cafe.

Kicking the guys butts in a more formal soccer setting.

Finding a guide for Becky, Myra, and Hubs.

Stay tuned!!
