Home Sweet Snow

Saturday's practice
Back in good old Hanover and the snow piles are a reminder that my tan will definitely be gone by tomorrow. Looking back on the week, we planted a lot of different seeds and, I think, gave them a much better chance of growing this time around. Before the trip, Ben and I spoke about the difference between a first trip and a second, and how much trust is gained simply by keeping your promise to return. I definitely feel that this was the case in Granada, as last year's trip laid the groundwork for a return trip that could really start to formalize things.

Over the next few weeks, we will keep the blog updated with the happenings in Granada, as well as our ideas for ways people here in the States can become more involved, or help with specific aspects of this project. I'm excited to hear how Becky, Myra, and Hubs adjust to the lifestyle, and will post any updates I hear from them as well as updates on the practices, the office, and Yelba.

Thank you Mary for such a beautifully written account. I have heard very little from Becky since she arrived, so your words are very appreciated. You have done great things...and have sent others on to achieve them as well. I look forward to keeping updated through this blog (that I happened to find while google searching!) Happy New Year and best to you....Lynn
